Evan's birthday mish-mash

One part dinosaur, one part disguises, two parts Scooby-Doo: put them all together and you have Evan's 5th birthday party.

Evan's entire preschool class came to our house to celebrate Evan's 5th birthday. We had a dog bone hunt, musical chairs, a dino pinata, and a Scooby-Doo dance party. While we were playing, Evan's presents were stolen by a mystery monster. The kids found clues, like long pieces of gauze, key chains, and toy cars. We found the mummy monster had hidden the presents in the back of the car. The kids loved chasing the mummy, and had to be restrained from hurting him. After that, Evan opened his presents and decorated cupcakes.

His friends from his preschool class were so nice. They all help each other and get along really well. I guess there is one exception when Evan was pretty upset that one friend in his class was calling him "Mr. Evan," and he didn't like that because it "made it sound like I have a beard."

Evan is funny, smart, handsome, and strong-willed. He is so sweet to me, and I hope he stays just how he is now forever (minus the picky eating habits).
