Am I the only person that when in a cave imagines scary things happening? Like, what if the whole cave fills with water while we're in here? Or what if that 4,000 lb. "heart of Timpanogos" stalagtite falls on our heads? What if there are bats? Or bears? Or strange undiscovered cave monsters? Or what if we never found our way out? Or what if the lights all turned out and wouldn't come back on? Yeah...other than those thoughts it was really fun to go through Timp Cave. Luckily, my kids don't have a mother's worrying brain.

I never had any thought remotely like that until I took my kids in a cave. The worrying neurons that embed in a mother's brain at the birth of a child are fiercely strong!
Earthquakes! Yes, that was my first thought when I went into Timp cave... "What happens if there's an earthquake, how will I protect my children?" My Father-in-law quickly assured me there would be nothing to worry about because we'd die instantly! But what if it was just a little one that blocked the openings??? and what if water started coming in??? I could go on and on! But I still love Timp Cave :)
Jessica, it's the worry switch that is turned on by having children.
Kristine, you think like me!!
