Our friend Ryan Spanos took this great picture of Mark and Miles. They have been practicing the song Miles From Nowhere for a month. Miles' guitar teacher organized a monthly gathering of friends who are interested in playing music. Each month they will pick an artist to cover. Mark was really nervous. Miles wasn't. He said this was his 6th time performing, so I guess it's old hat for him. I would post the video except it would probably take up the rest of my storage space on this blog.
The chorus of the song says:

As Miles and Mark were playing together, looking at each other and strumming, I thought, "I hope Miles takes his time to grow up." We're miles from the teenage years, the years where he might not be so into hanging out with mom and dad, so I know I need to take my time with these precious years when Miles and Evan are all mine, because I'm not anxious to reach the end.
