Back to School Celebration

I was really inspired by blogger NieNie's back to school feast. The idea is to celebrate the start of a new school year, set a theme for the year, and set some goals... and eat cupcakes, of course.

Our theme for the year is "Make it Great." We talked about how the kids can make this year of school great by being organized, trying their best, getting their schoolwork done, making new friends, and having fun. Miles is an "early bird" at school, meaning he starts school an hour earlier than the B Track students. He loves this because it means he gets out of school an hour earlier. Since we have to make sure Miles is out the door early, I think I'm going to have to go running earlier than usual - like 6:30 a.m. I guess I'll have to learn to make that great too.
