Happy Father's Day!

Maybe because I'm a mother of boys, Father's Day really makes me reflect on the importance of fathers and the fact that they are often under-appreciated. I'm pretty sure Mark could run our household better than I do. He says he couldn't do my job, but when I went out of town he entertained the kids, took them to fun places, made all the meals, kept up with the housework, AND organized the pantry! I think one of my kid's greatest blessings is that they have a dad who loves them, teaches them, plays with them, and is interested in every aspect of their lives. Thank you to my dad, who always thought his kids were capable and smart. He made me feel like I had the potential to do anything I wanted, and he worked hard to make sure I could. Happy Father's Day!

I've been meaning to comment on this one. As an eye witness, I have to agree that Mark is an awfully good Dad and your Dad isn't half bad either.
They gave nothing to the Dad's at church on Sunday - so I still owe Dan a candybar or a pansy or something.

A pansy - haa haa! The dads in our ward got chocolate covered pretzels, which Mark took to work so none of us could steal them.
