We've had pretty gloomy weather for June. Most days have been cloudy and rainy. But I thought these pictures, taken by the lake near our house, turned out pretty in the gloom. I hope everyone is having a good summer, no matter the weather!
They are really cool pictures. They made me wonder if you ran back up to Oregon. Where is the dock that you are hanging out on? I didn't know there was one like that close to your house.
I thought it looked just like Oregon too! I wish we could run up there again! The dock is in the Pelican Bay neighborhood, just a couple minutes from our house. How's the weather in Kansas?
HOT!! HUMID!! Hannah gets little sweat droplets on her nose when we go out on the sunny days. We have also had some rainy gloomy days. Two nights ago we had the most crazy thunderstorm I've ever seen. Dan, Isaac and I went out to watch it in our stairwell and Dan and I both thought we heard the train sound of a tornado. The wind was whipping and the rain was coming down thick from every direction. Isaac asked to go out and play in it but even I wasn't that adventurous.
This has been our weather too. Everything is green though. These are great pictures. They remind me of when we went there and there were voles all over the place. Are they gone?

Luckily the voles never came back after that one year. Hopefully they never will! :)
