Learning at the Farm

Today was agriculture day at the farm at Thanksgiving Point, so it was a perfect day to take the kids. There was a scavenger hunt that taught about different animals, goats and sheep on leashes to pet, and exhibits that taught about how plants grow. But the best words of wisdom came from Miles' observation that, "Pigs are the worst animal on the farm because they're smelly and they're pink."

Evan had to ride the biggest horse he could find. When we got home I heard a terrified shriek in the garage, and it was because Evan saw an ant.

And I liked this goat, who seemed to be enjoying watching the people as much as people enjoyed watching the animals.

This looks like a fun day. I agree with Miles that pigs are stiiiinky but I am not sure a color change would make any difference for me.
