Freedom.

Miles has always had a cautious nature. I don't have to worry about him running into the street, or taking unnecessary risks. In fact, I have encourage him to take risks. Due to this personality trait, many of Miles' friends were riding 2-wheel bikes while he was still using training wheels. This weekend, as is also typical of Miles, he decide he was ready to ride a 2-wheel bike, and that was it. He practiced a few times with Mark, picked up speed after several tries, and then he found a new love. He rode his bike until his legs practically gave out. He complained about having to stop, and made us promise he could ride it again the next day. Of course, he did wear a helmet the entire time.

This picture does take me back to kid-hood. I also think it does a great job of capturing true joy. Go Miles!!
