Sunday afternoons tend to be long and uneventful at our house. Sometimes I try to rest or take a quick nap, only to be tapped on the forehead or nose because I need to see if a robot design looks "robotish" enough, or someone is screaming because they got their jacket stuck on their head (this really happened), or it's been five minutes since they've had a snack and they're STARVING. Today, Evan was bored enough to spend a good portion of his day finding hangers and hanging them on a cabinet:
Miles watched this YouTube video of Asimo, the humanoid robot made by Honda, at least a hundred times.
And then he made this video, encouraging everyone to watch Asimo on YouTUB:
I don't know why, but I have a sudden, strong desire to go draw myself up a nice, warm U-TUB. Maybe it has to do with the sudden, strong motion sickness I'm feeling. You make a great commercial Miles and I love your love of robots - its fun to see someone who has a passion for something! And there is nothing quite like the busy usefulness of a two-year old. I just want to rub Evan's head!
Miles has come a long way from from the shark vacuum video ("It even gets the edges!).
I am looking forward to having lazy Sunday afternoons next year. We have church at one now and the time just isn't as relaxing before church as it is after.
I'm glad Noah enjoyed it too. It's hard for Miles to find people as excited about these things as he is. :)
Kirstin, I forgot all about the shark, that was hilarious!
Jessica, I hope you enjoyed your soak in the U-TUB. :) You're right too about the passion Miles has for robots. When Mark told him Honda had created the most human-like robot, Miles actually got tears in his eyes.

Noah enjoyed 'Asimo'! As soon as it finished he asked if there was more.
