Blogger Fodder

Some events can be descibed as blogger fodder, meaning the place/event is full of moms with cameras who will soon be blogging about the place/event. By hopping around to your ten favorite blogs you may come across the same event five or six times. The Witches Village at Gardener Village is blogger fodder. There are opportunities for pictures at every turn. The kids eyes are lit with excitement. No mom can resist posting these pictures. The viral advertising is built right in with the witches doing dances, lifting up their skirts for cats to run by, and making their electric green brew. Tell me this isn't a blogger fodder photo op:

Evan was a bit leary of all the blogger fodder, or maybe he was a little spooked by the witches. He spent much of the time with this look on his face:

See the woman in the background of this picture who is taking a picture? She probably has a picture of ME taking a picture! If this is not proof of blogger fodder, I don't know what is.

Besides all the blogger fodder at the Witches Village, you feel compelled to get a cookie from the Naborhood Bakery (their spelling, not mine). And you have to get a pumpkin-shaped cookie, because it's Halloween season, but Evan only wanted chocolate chip.

This sign made me feel a litte self-conscious. Is someone trying to tell me something?

Evan didn't feel comfortable having any witches beside him or behind him for any picture taking, so this is the only picture I got with both Miles and Evan. Notice the blogger fodder evidence all around - you can't even take a picture without someone else in the picture. But I know why it is such blogger fodder. It was fun! We loved it. And I think all 1,463 other people there at the same time did too.

Wow, that looks like fun! I'm gonna have to add myself to that crowd!
