Evan's curls smelled like lavender shampoo today. Little lavender curly Q's. I could just cut them off and put them in a scrapbook. Use this on your kids and you will be sniffing their head every time they walk by. Promise. I wish this blog was scratch and sniff.
I also love the smell of sheets that have been in the dryer with a couple of Febreze lavender scented dryer sheets.
Lavender, you have an affect on me!
I also learned lavender has uses beyond dryer sheeting and head sniffing. "Lavender is believed to be of benefit for a multitude of problems, including stress, anxiety, exhaustion, irritability, headaches, migraines, insomnia, depression, colds, digestion, flatulence, upset stomach, liver and gallbladder problems, nervousness, loss of appetite, and as a breath freshener and mouthwash. Inhaling the essential oil in some cases has been reported to work as well as narcotics for inducing relaxation and sleep, easing symptoms of depression, and reducing headache pain. For inhalation purposes, boil 2 cups of water, add 2 drops of essential oil, and inhale the steam." Care for some steamed lavender, anyone? Or, you could sniff your kid's lavender-scented head. I think I want to try to plant some lavender in my yard this year!

I wish I was around to smell Evan's head. Lavender makes me think of reading English novels. It is so pretty - I hope you do plant some.
It is very English novel isn't it? It should be covering a moore or something.
