Words have power. This is a lesson that Miles is learning now that he can write. For example, he can make elite clubs with the membership info clearly posted. Here, he has made signs indicating that Mom is not allowed (mom's face crossed out) and Evan is allowed sometimes, with Miles' permission (Evan's face crossed out and not crossed out). Dad was also crossed out. Like I said, this was a very exclusive club.
Later, Evan's membership was revoked when he spilled water in the tent and got a little too rowdy, causing Miles to worry about his tent poles being snapped (it's happened before, same suspect involved). So, here, Mom and Dad receive full access (faces not crossed out), and Evan loses his privileges (face crossed out).
